Canadian Bernese Mountain Dog Breeders

Question:

Could someone point me in the right direction as to where to find  a reputable breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs in Canada ?  My father recently lost his beloved dog and is having trouble locating breeders anywhere between Nova Scotia and Ontario.  His original breeder has stopped breeding dogs altogether and the Dogs in Canada Annual apparently doesn’t have much in the geographical area listed above.  We both agree that it would be best to meet the breeder and their dogs as I’m sure any responsible breeder would like to meet any prospective owner – rather than having one shipped in a crate.  The dog would have a fine home in the country and be well looked after. Hope someone can help – we all know what it is like to lose a dog, and he has become very attached to the fine qualities of this breed.
